About Us
We are Raptor Force Engineering, Team 1662, from Jim Elliot
Christian High School in Lodi, California.
Our School is named after the Missionary Jim Elliot who was martyred in
the jungles of Ecuador.

In the fall of 2004, with a
donation from the late
Doug Buhr, Raptor Force Engineering, Team 1662, became a team.
Our goal is to keep Christ the center as we work together to create a robot to compete in the FIRST
Robotics competition, and along the way to learn the many manual skills and life skills that come through the process.
2005 was our rookie year.
We finished 26 at the Davis-Sacramento Regional but we had a
lot of fun.
In 2006 we won the Davis-Sacramento Regional along with Team 1726, Buena
High School, Sierra Vista, AZ and
Team 852, The Athenian School, Danville,
CA.
2007 Davis-Sacramento
semifinalist, Atlanta World Championship participant.
2008 Davis-Sacramento, along with Teams 115 and
2122 Regional Winners.
2008 Davis-Sacramento Regional Delphi Award
